Ferrari considered McLaren boss Andreas Seidl as a possible replacement for Mattia Binotto.


According to Motorsport-Total, Ferrari president John Elkann approached Seidl a few weeks ago but was turned down. The publication writes that Andreas was the most preferred candidate for Elkann.


The Italian press reported that Alfa Romeo chief Frederic Wasser will replace Binotto from January. The Scuderia denies this information.
