Three-match ban of Robert Lewandowski in La Liga upheld.


The appeal committee upheld the decision on a three-match suspension of the Barcelona striker in the championship of Spain.


Earlier, the RFEF disciplinary committee ruled that Robert Lewandowski was suspended for three matches in La Liga for behavior in the game against Osasuna (2:1). The striker was sent off in the first half, and then, going to the tribune room, showed an insulting gesture to the referee. Barcelona filed an appeal against this decision, but it was rejected.


As such, Lewandowski should miss La Liga matches via free video online against Espanyol, Atletico and Betis.


Barcelona can challenge this decision by filing an appeal with the Administrative Court of Sports (TAD) within 15 working days.
