World number six Felix Auger-Aliassime shared his emotions from reaching the Davis Cup semi-finals. Today the Canadians will play with the Italians.


We knew we had a great team even without Milos [Raonic], even though we may not have expected to reach the final, we now believe we can get another win.


It`s great that we, the young players, Denis [Shapovalov] and I, got the opportunity to play in the final. I sincerely believe that our team has everything to win this trophy in the coming years.


It`s always nice to win while playing for Team Canada. I`m looking forward to these weeks of being able to get together with the guys and play and hang out together.


I communicate very closely with the guys from the team, because we grew up with many of them. It`s a lot of fun not only to play tennis and compete for victory, but also to be among friends.
