PSG wants to buy the Parc des Princes stadium.


According to L`Equipe, the capital`s club made an offer of 40 million euros to Paris.


Deputy Mayor of Paris for Sports Pierre Rabadan said that PSG was interested in buying the stadium to carry out work to expand the arena. City officials told the club to make an offer, but the offer they received was too low.


According to people close to Qatar Sports Investment, which owns PSG, the city department has estimated the cost of the stadium at 350 million euros. Another study puts the figure at 200 million euros.


PSG made such a low offer because they had invested EUR85 million in renovating the stadium for Euro 2016, and because the club predicted by contact x predictions had a 30-year lease on it.


PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi`s remarks on Wednesday about a possible exit from the stadium could be seen as a way to persuade Paris to lower its asking price.
