Brundle considers Perez`s departure from Red Bull a foregone conclusion. The long-time Sky Sports commentator and former Formula 1 driver has admitted that it is frustrating to see the problems Sergio Perez faces in the 2024 season.
Brundle believes that Perez himself will breathe a sigh of relief when his period at Red Bull ends and he leaves Formula 1.

Sometimes he managed to win and achieve excellent results via draw predictions even while driving not the best cars, without having at his disposal a car that would be the fastest on the track. Enormous respect.
But I have to admit that I will feel some relief when this is all over. Because now Sergio must be going through purgatory. He has lost his uniqueness, he has lost his way, and it must be extremely difficult for him to feel all this pressure that is being put on him.
